The Witches Of Stourton Hall by Victoria J Hunt Fantasy Fiction Indie books

The Stourhead house and gardens, now owned by the National Trust, were once the property of the Hoare family. This beloved and special place attracts thousands of families, and despite the crowds, it still exudes grandeur and a sense of history. As you follow the path, you'll discover the Gothic cottage, where my story, intertwined with the Stourhead family, begins. It's a tale of fantasy fiction, with only the monuments and some place references being factual.

Through research, I've found references to witches not far from the Hall, suggesting that parts of my story may not be far removed from the witches who once roamed the woods or an ancient tribe that discovered the peaceful valley and the infamous stone.

When I visit, I truly envision Avia in the gardens, patting the statues like horses and feeding the fish on the bridge. I imagine the witches by the cottage and the castle that once stood, with Jeremiah Field herding his sheep in the former forests and glades.
