Dolly Mouse & Friends

Dolly mouse and friends was inspired by my childhood and finding a dormouse in the abandoned porch of a rambling home, fed with hamster food the little sleeper would find a good welcome when awake. As an adult with my own children, we moved to an old house with a wild garden and several garden encounters with little wood mice and others, took me back to those days. The adventure stories in Dolly Mouse and Friends illustrate the effects of climate and human intervention in their little lives, in cute tales of how they help each other, beginning with some lovely facts about the small creatures habitat and distinctive features a wonderful little educational read by Victoria J Hunt.
